I had the pleasure of being able to photograph this little man at only a week old. Doing South Shields newborn photography is one of my greatest pleasures as I get to be back in my home town and photography my favourite subject.

We often start our photoshoots with a little chat and catch up. Sharing experiences as us mothers do.

Ive been doing south shields newborn photography for 30 years now, I had 5 Children of my own and one angel baby. I photography many other areas around the North east as well, Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland. Im happy to travel to you in your home where you have your comfort.

I remember after having my sections (5 of them) how exhausted I was and unable to even get upstairs to the loo, let alone to someone’s studio. This is why I wanted to do it this way. So parents can recover and still capture those memories.

Some of my best photographs of my children were the ones that are at home, that are true to life. I want to share that gift with you too. that memory.

I don’t share photographs without parents permission and I like to keep details away from blogs too.

I will do minor retouching at the parents request, ie a scratch on the nose, but I don’t remove anything that would naturally be there or heavily edit baby in a way that you can’t recognise its them.
